The I.R.S.’s 14 points for Recognition of the Syban Church

1. Distinct legal existence. – SYBAN CHURCH TRUST REG was established as a registered trust on January 3, 2012 in Gibraltar under Regietered Trust Number 00030. 

2. Recognized creed and form of worship. As defined in the Syban Declaration of Faith and in accordance to the Syban Book of Ceremonies and Rituals and the Holy Book of Syban.

3. Definite and distinct ecclesiastical government. – Defined in the Syban Charter and the Holy Book of Syban.

4. Formal code of doctrine and discipline. – Refer to the Syban Charter, Declaration of Faith, and the Regulations of The Syban Church.

5. Distinct religious history. – Please see the Chronicles of the Syban Church

6. Membership not associated with any other church or denomination. – As per the Syban Charter and in the Declaration of Faith. 

7. Organization of ordained ministers. Org-chart by Birgit and Charter. There are ordained ministers and a Seminary with a defined curriculum for the education and development of ministers / clergy.

8. Ordained ministers selected after completing prescribed courses of studies. – The Syban Church has an extensive Seminary program consisting of courses lasting a minimum of 2 months. Those who complete the required number of course credits receive a special degree from the Syban Seminary. The typical duration of the Seminary degree is 2 calendar years.

9. Literature of its own. – The SYBAN CHURCH TRUST REG has a wealth of unique literature, including the following books: The Book of Syban,  The Syban Book of Ceremonies and Rituals, The Syban Rites of Passage, and several other works of literature. The Seminary also has seminary courses that are unique and exclusive to the Syban Church.

10. Established places of worship. The main places of worship and the performance of Syban ceremonies and rituals is in any consecrated Syban Temple, Pyramid, or any such location where a single or multiple member of the fellowship gather, or any such place that is defined as a place of worship in the Holy Book of Syban. Our members and clergy have the option of fellowship virtually, through our website. The central place of worship shall be the Syban Rotunda.

11. Regular congregations. – The main congregations are scheduled at all consecrated Syban Temples, Pyramids, and the Syban Rotunda. Ministers, clergy, and members of the fellowship may gather at any other physical location. Clergy and fellowship may also congregate online on the Syban website.

12. Regular religious services.There are weekly, monthly, and annual religious services that are conducted by our clergy. These services are defined and scheduled in The Syban Book of Ceremonies and Rituals. Syban also considers sermons to be a religious service. Our sermons are updated at least once a month and sometimes more often. Our clergy and fellowship are encouraged, both on the website and through newsletters and our church mailings to submit sermons for online publication. We publish them on the website.

13. Religious instruction of the young. The Syban Church has a religious education program that for the young and for adolescents. This program is administered by the Syban Seminary. The lessons can be attended in person when seminars or camps are scheduled, or the lessons may be conducted in a self-guided home study, or emailed to each individual as well. We feel that providing instructional material of a wide-variety of styles and mediums may help students, parents or Sunday School teachers enhance their learning and teaching abilities. We encourage our clergy to share their favorite Syban religious lessons with the congregation.

14. Schools for preparation of its ministers. – The Syban Church has a defined Seminary program for the education, development, and ordination of clergy. We feel it’s essential that our Church clergy are well-educated and well-rounded.
